Searching for you

A sailor waits on the shore of the nile
looking to cross the sea many a mile
waiting for the sea to pass me a smile
but still searching for you in the bottom of the sea.

I want to delve deep down into the sea
only to find you flee
but then even there are obstacles in my way
come what may, i need to find you.

Even the sky above today looks so keen,
its only your charm that has made my
everything to turn green.

Let me find you some place in sea or some
place in heaven.But wherever you shall be
i always want you to be with me.

My search may never end until the lights fade
memories are such of you that wont easily get erased
the burden of life carries me through but only to find you.

Angels appear in my dreams
dark whispers follow me through & then i scream
but only i just want to look at you
for the moments we touched
and the visions we layed,so i dream.

All hopes fade and my search meets its
own fate,but still i think of the moments that
we both embraced.

Still i search for you,the bottom of the sea appears
so shallow but still deep inside me it feels so hollow.
Your beauty is mystified but times will change & times
are strange.I just need to keep patience so one day finding you
may lead me to the path of salvation.

Someday a glorious sun may appear from the west,
then the sea may evaporate,turning the sea into an empty beacon
that guides me nowhere but only towards you,a mermaid in water.

The sea is empty now & i have found you.
Lets embrace each other,once again,
before i close my eyes and again start dreaming only of you.
